Ask your friends to sign The Marriage Petition today |

| Thank you again for signing The Marriage Petition.
You signed the petition because you care about marriage. Now please help the campaign by asking others to show that they care too. The petition already contains over 9,000 names. This is a good start, but we believe many Scots who want to uphold the long established definition of marriage are yet to sign. If your friends or members of your family have not added their names to the petition, please get them to do so today. If each of the 9,000 petition signatories took a petition sheet round their friends and neighbours, giving them the chance to sign their name in support, it would send a clear message to the Scottish Government to leave marriage alone. Names can be added to the petition: 1. online here, or 2. using a printed petition sheet (download a PDF here). Signed petition sheets can be posted to the Scotland for Marriage office in Glasgow (Scotland for Marriage, Challenge House, 29 Canal Street, Glasgow, G4 0AD). The petition can only be signed by each person once, so those who have already signed the petition online should not fill in a printed sheet. The current legal definition of marriage has served Scotland well for centuries. Redefining marriage would be damaging for the general welfare of the people of Scotland. Like us, you believe that this should not be allowed to happen. Please play your part in defending marriage by encouraging others to sign The Marriage Petition today. |
